This Promotion Privacy Notice is provided by The Compleat Food Group Limited (we, us or our) (registered office Tottle Bakery, Dunsil Drive, Queens Drive Industrial Estate, Nottingham, NG2 1LU) in our capacity as promoter of the Squeaky Bean Pies Money Back Guarantee (the Promotion). It applies to all individuals who interact with us in relation to the Promotion.

We are the data controller for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.

This Notice is a summary of how we will manage your personal data in relation to the Promotion, and is supplemental to The Compleat Food Group group privacy policy (the Privacy Policy), so should be read alongside the Privacy Policy.

The data we collect and its use

We will collect the following personal data during the Promotion, depending on the extent of your communications with us: your name, postal address, email address, bank details or PayPal details.

We will use this data to:

  • Record your entry in the Promotion
  • Verify your eligibility to enter the Promotion
  • Process your refund if you have made an eligible claim.

The above data is processed by us on the basis that it is necessary for the performance of the terms and conditions of the Promotion by us.

  • To respond to enquiries or complaints in relation to the Promotion
  • To make details of the Promotion available to the Advertising Standards Authority

This processing is necessary to ensure that the Promotion is managed appropriately and in accordance with our wider legal and regulatory obligations.

We will share your personal data with our third-party partners in connection with the services that they provide to us in connection with the Promotion, for example, Activation Digital Limited, who provide marketing services and management of the Promotion microsite, and VCG The PromoRisk People Limited, who administer the payment of refunds in the Promotion. We take reasonable steps to ensure that third parties process your data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018, only use it in accordance with our contract with them, and keep it secure.

We may also need to provide information to the Advertising Standards Authority on their request, in order to demonstrate our compliance with the UK Code of Non-Broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing.

Please note that your personal data may be transferred outside of the European Economic Area (EEA), for example by our IT providers. We will not transfer your personal data outside of the EEA unless there are appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable data protection law.

The transmission of information via the internet, including via email, is not completely secure. Although we will strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to us, and any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

Data retention

We will retain your data for two months after the administration of refunds in the Promotion, or if later there are any relevant complaints or issues in relation to the Promotion, promptly following those issues being resolved.
